Metrology Service Technician/ Control Panel Fabrication

American Control & Engineering Service Inc. (ACES) Is seeking applicants for the following full-time

position.

Metrology Service Technician/ Control Panel Fabrication

Metrology technicians will verify calibration on a wide range of temperature-controlled

equipment/instruments. Identify and utilize appropriate measurement procedures. Perform corrective actions to

address identified problems. Maintain calibration standards.

Responsibilities/daily tasks

• Perform calibration, troubleshooting and repairs on a wide range of temperature-controlled

equipment/instruments

• Precisely follow ACES procedures and policies, industry standards, and manufacturers requirements

for accurate calibration of instruments

• Self-led to learn and understand fully AMS2750 and other applicable specifications

• Complete required documentation to certify the verification and calibration of instruments

• Manage time to achieve maximum efficiency

• Provide the best service possible to customers and fellow employees

• Be self-motivated and trainable

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required

• Formal training in Metrology, pervious Precision Measurement Equipment Course (PMEL)

preferred

• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and database applications (data entry, not

programming)

• Valid driver’s license with positive driving record

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Excellent data collection and analysis skills

• Strong attention to detail

Relation of the position to others in the company

At times will work independently at customer sites and report to the Service Supervisor.
